Transportation and parking during the college baseball tournament
Due to increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic during the annual college baseball tournament it can be a bit trickier to get to us. Here are a few tips and warnings to help you avoid headaches.
- The free parking lot behind our building will be closed for the duration of the tournament, and on-street and paid lot parking will be competitive. Arrive early to look for a space. Check out this handy FAQ about parking in the area.
- Forget the car; take the bus! Hop the stadium express from locations in West Omaha, Bellevue, or Council Bluffs to get downtown for just $6 roundtrip. The express bus drops off just a block away on 13th Street. Once you're down here, Metro will run a circulator bus through NoDo and the Old Market every ten minutes. Fare is 25 cents, and the nearest stop to us is at 14th and Cumming Streets.
- Metro is, however, detouring the 4/14 bus route that normally runs by our theater to Douglas Street starting at 20th Street.
- Ditch the car and ride a bike! A bike valet will be stationed on our block of Mike Fahey Street between 13th and 14th Streets. If you need to rent a bike, our complex is home to an Omaha B-Cycle rack.
