As a community organization, Film Streams is dedicated to serving as an active resource for the preservation, promotion, and education of the past century’s most significant art form.
Foundation grants play a key role in the development of our organization by providing programming and operating support that allows us to remain consistent with our mission and make decisions independent of box office concerns. Without the support of foundations throughout our community, including early challenge grants from the Peter Kiewit Foundation and Iowa West Foundation, the progress of our organization and cinema project would not be where it is today.
