Not necessarily a box office hit, but now a home-video success that garnered a cult following, A Goofy Movie was the feature film directorial debut for Disney story artist and animator Kevin Lima, who went on to direct the Disney films Tarzan (1999), 102 Dalmatians (2000) and Enchanted (2007).
Goofy has a hilarious cross-country road trip in store for his teenage son Max. En route to the ol' fishing hole to get in some father-son bonding time, they find themselves up to their floppy ears in misadventure. Will Max learn there's nothing wrong with taking after dear old dad...even if he is a little goofy?
