Megan Bloomfield (Natasha Lyonne) is a high school cheerleader whose life gets interrupted when she is sent to a conversion therapy camp by her parents. As she works her way through the 12-step program to straightness she finds community, friendship, and even love. Natasha Lyonne and Clea DuVall star in Jamie Babbit's first feature film that has since become a cult classic. Campiness and satire are the film's prevailing aesthetics, but a true heart runs through it, honoring the grief and joy that come with discovering queerness.
