What constitutes a girlboss? A CEO of their own company? An intersection of sass and class? Determination at its finest? This Deep Dive presents varied experiences of 21st-century American women in the workplace as they come to terms with the nuances of being a professional woman.
Join Film Streams’ Weitz Fellow in an examination of the American girlboss in popular films from 2nd wave feminism to the 21st century in a Deep Dive on April 20th from 10 am to 1 pm. This Deep Dive is programmed alongside our GIRLBOSS Series, which will run from April 12-18 at the Ruth Sokolof Theater. Viewing the films in the Girlboss series is highly encouraged, although not required to attend this Deep Dive.

Refund Policy
Registration fees for Deep Dives may be refunded until two weeks prior to the first class. After that period, no refunds or exchanges will be accepted. The registration fee may not be transferred to another Deep Dive, nor is it applicable toward regularly priced programming. Refunds will not be given for a partially attended Deep Dive. In the event that Film Streams needs to cancel a Deep Dive, we will refund the registration fee.
