Felius recently opened a new, expanded facility at 5015 Dodge Street in Dundee, enabling them to help more cats and deepen their impact in the Omaha community. To learn more, visit their website.
CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is committed to raising awareness and money for cats in need around the world. A percentage of the proceeds from each event go to local animal shelters and/or animal welfare organizations. Since 2019, over $150,000 has been raised for local shelters in addition to adoptions, fostering, volunteer sign-ups and much more at shows.
This year, Film Streams is donating a portion of CatVideoFest ticket sales to Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue—Omaha’s only nonprofit cat cafe. Since 2018, Felius has helped over 2,400 rescue cats through its programs, including 1,532 cats adopted into loving homes. The organization has also welcomed more than 50,000 community members, educating the public on the importance of adoption and responsible pet ownership.
Funds raised will support Felius’ rescue program, where each cat costs an average of $82.96 per month to care for—covering food, shelter, medications, and veterinary care for as long as they need it.
