Part of a double feature with THE PLEASURE GARDEN. See both for the price of one! Or, if you’re not in the mood for a marathon, pick one or the other!
CHAMPANGE is one of several films in The Hitchcock 9 that explore the follies of the rich. Here, the effervescent Betty Balfour is a spoiled girl whose life of decadence is threatened by her father’s sudden bankruptcy. What she doesn’t know is that it’s all a ruse; her father is testing her by faking financial turmoil.
