The romantic comedy DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE (a.k.a. The Brave Hearted Will Take Away the Bride, a.k.a. DDLJ) finds playboy Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) suddenly smitten with a woman named Simran (Kajol).

The only problem is that Simran’s father has already arranged for her marriage.

A London-based immigrant, Simran’s father insists the family must return to Punjab, back to his roots, his land, his culture, one that he strongly believes in. When they make the trip, Raj opts to follow.

But can he manage to win over Simran’s father?
