Presented with the Meyer Foundation for Disabilities and Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands and PTI Nebraska, and funded in part by the Nebraska Planning Council on Developmental Disabilities. A panel discussion will follow the film, featuring Graciela Sharif (Minority Outreach Coordinator, PTI Nebraska), Gabriela Hasanov and Jose Cogua (bilingual parents and members of Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands).

ABOUT THE FILM: Proving everyone is equal in their need for — and ability to feel — love, Daniel (Pablo Pinedo), a thirty-something office worker with Down’s syndrome, embarks on a romance with Laura (Lola Duenas), a neurotic but “normal” co-worker. Despite their apparent differences, Laura is attracted to Daniel, who is the first European with Down’s to graduate from a university.
