Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney transcend their characters’ vapid stereotypes, imbuing the sisters with a hard nosed, no-nonsense view of the situation.  Complete with a montage set to Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, Night of the Comet is very much the B-side to Dawn of the Dead. — Andy Helmkamp
