Film Information

If you were on the Internet in the late 2000s/early 2010s, you’ve likely run into Freddie Wong before. Wong and Matthew Arnold, co-founders of RocketJump and co-creators of the cult classic series Video Game High School and hit Dungeons & Dragons comedy podcast Dungeons & Daddies have now added feature filmmaking to their repertoire, bringing a subtle but vividly interesting creative vision to life.

In the near future, a towering alien "spike" materializes in Earth's atmosphere, wreaking havoc. Years later, it's still around. A struggling beekeeper (Ashly Burch) is forced to team up with an emotionally raw EMT (Jordan Rodrigues) on a roadtrip to retrieve her bees (and his car) after their stuff is suddenly teleported across the country by the alien spike.

Reviews
"A lot of laughs, a few well-earned tears, and just a splash of existential questioning" – FlickLuster

"Burch and Rodrigues are superb, seamlessly navigating the grief and growth of loss." – Austin Chronicle
