Nine to Five: Countdown to our Fifth Anniversary

This July, Film Streams will celebrate the fifth anniversary of our two-screen cinema, the Ruth Sokolof Theater, which had its grand opening on July 27, 2007.

Just a few days earlier, on Sunday, July 22, we’ll welcome Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda to Omaha for our fundraiser celebration Feature IV.

Over the next nine weeks, as we gear up for both occasions, we’ll be taking a look back at the past five years — including some milestones achieved along the way, but mostly at all of the amazing people we have to thank. We’re calling that look back in time Nine to Five. Get it?

During those nine weeks, we’ll be posting updates in our weekly enewsletter and our new Film Streams blog, as well on Facebook and Twitter. We’ll also be announcing details about what’s happening here on our anniversary weekend, including special recognition of all the wonderful supporters who have been Film Streams Members for all five years we’ve been open.
