Secret Kindness Agents at the Dundee Theater
If you're like us, you've seen the incredible Mr. Rogers documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor?, cried your eyes out, and are now looking for ways to channel the radical kindness of Fred Rogers in your day-to-day.
That's why we teamed with Ferial Pearson to bring a slice of her Secret Kindness Agents project to the Dundee Theater. Started at Ralston High School in 2012, the project hinges on the idea that caring is contagious, and that anonymous acts of kindness -- no matter how small -- can lead to a better world. The project has spread to over 400 schools internationally, and agents of all ages number in the thousands.
Secret Kindness challenge cards will be distributed to attendees at Won't You Be My Neighbor? while supplies last. Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to harness the spirit of Fred Rogers and spread kindness to your neighbors. For more involvement in Ferial's movement, check out the SKA Facebook group.
