The purpose of our Local Filmmakers Showcase, now in its third year, is to celebrate and screen the extraordinary work created right here in our region. This year’s showcase is no exception—in fact, it’s as dynamic a display of artistry and ingenuity as we’ve seen yet.
Thoughtfully curated by the members of The Faint (Todd Fink, Jacob Thiele, Dapose, and Clark Baechle), the 115-minute program features 10 films by 9 filmmakers, including directors returning to the showcase (Patrick Geske, Tim Guthrie, Lindsay Trapnell, Charles Fairbanks) and others making their Film Streams debuts (Jesse McLean, Tony Bonacci, Pat Clark, Jonathan Tvrdik, Harrison Martin). Drama, comedy, music video, documentary, experimental short -- each brings something different to the program, the collection of which we’re truly excited to screen and incredibly proud to present.
