Unicorns are magical in writer-director Alex Scharfman’s feature debut, but they can also be fearsome beasts. A combination of social commentary, dark comedy and horror film, Death Of A Unicorn features an all-star cast of Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant to take the audience on a wild ride.
A father (Rudd) and daughter (Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss (Grant) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.
