Zhenya and Boris are going through a vicious divorce marked by resentment, frustration and recriminations. Both are impatient to start their new lives, each with a separate partner, even if it means leaving behind their 12-year-old son Alexey. But then, after witnessing one of their fights, Alexey disappears.
