Film Information
Pulp Fiction fused the conventions of classic hardboiled crime stories with the indie sensibilities of the era. The film was the second theatrical feature directed by Quentin Tarantino and has since spawned many imitations and continues to influence filmmakers today with its fractured anthology narrative and instantly quotable dialogue.
A mysterious suitcase brings together the lives of two hit men, a down-on-his-luck boxer, a notorious gangster’s wife, and a pair of lovesick petty thieves in interlocking tales of crime and redemption in Los Angeles.
As part of our See Change initiative, we strive to showcase the work of women and non-binary individuals and their behind-the-scenes involvement in a production.
This film was edited by Sally Menke and produced by Stacey Sher.
Dundee Theater History
This film played at the Dundee for a three month run following its release in the fall of 1994. Pulp Fiction would later be brought back for special one night screenings and became a recurring staple for the midnight movie crowd in the 2000s.
