After making Coraline in 2009, stop-motion legend Henry Selick took a break from directing. Teaming up with producer Jordan Peele, Selick returned to bring us a phantasmic thrill ride in a wicked stop-animation feature with an all-star cast including Lyric Ross, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames.
Two scheming demon brothers Wendell and Wild enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot, a tough teen with a load of guilt, to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other.
