Film Streams and the Office of Latino/Latin American Studies at UNO (OLLAS) are proud to present Cinemateca 2014, our fourth biennial celebration of Latino, Latin-American, and Spanish cinema. Dedicated as always to presenting great art that transcends borders, this year’s program is unique from previous installments in that all of the films are from the last several years, a sure sign of a brilliant and thriving scene, and most have documentary elements. The series will also include two director visits, including the first-ever international filmmaker visit to Film Streams’ Ruth Sokolof Theater.
