Join us as we honor trailblazing film producer Gale Anne Hurd (Dick, Mankiller, The Walking Dead, Armageddon, Aliens) and award-winning director/producer Valerie Red-Horse Mohl (Mankiller, Naturally Native, Beauty, Choctaw Code Talkers, My Indian Summer) with a two-day celebration of their careers and collaborative work together, including special screenings of their films and Film Streams' second annual See Change Wavemaker Awards presentation.
Launched in 2020, See Change is Film Streams’ initiative to achieve and champion gender parity among directors of the films we program.
Kicking off the weekend will be a special 25th-anniversary screening of the brilliant Watergate comedy starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. Featuring a post-show See Change conversation with Gale Anne Hurd and Valerie Red-Horse Mohl, moderated by Diana Martinez, PhD.
